Side Panels Build Guide

The first three images are of the side panels as originally installed in the aircraft. The next four images illustrate the individual parts, disassembled, but arranged next to each other, exploded drawing style. The last three images show the parts loosely reassembled.
The aircraft's beams are on 20.0" centers, and all the normal interior panel materials are designed for that spacing.
The mounting strips that secure the bottom edge of the window panels and the top edge of the bottom panels are typically 60" long, or three panels wide. In the forth and sixth images, you can see the excess length of the strip extending to the left. If your installation happens to incorporate panels in multiples of three, then the normal mounting strip will work as originally designed. Otherwise, simple cutting of this strip will be necessary.
There's no mounting strip for the top edge of the window panels, because it's built into the light fixture assemblies that I've retained in my aircraft. (Sorry!) You don't need a strip to secure the top edge, because the side strips do that, so much as you might want to add a trim component for aesthetics. Almost any material that looks good and slightly overlaps the top edge of the window panel would be perfectly suitable.
